Biography

Born in 2001, Beijing, China.

Currently studying in her final year of BA Photography at University of the Arts London.

Freelance jewellery photographer at K&Co London.

A single materiality can go so far beyond how it looks at first sight. 

Things that we ignore can be provocative.

I respect, I admire the natural forms and I ought to exaggerate its beauty through my art.”

Shi’s work does not limit in a single medium, she works with multiple interests in different forms of fine art, such as paintings, photography, moving image and installation. Shi moved to the UK in 2017, at the age of 16. In her work, her Eastern root has been infused with the Western language in her unique artistic expressions.
